HP Veteran Career Coaching Event

 ccf11950bf0bc7e8bef76a8eb7b5a0f0On November 14, Hewlett-Packard (HP) is hosting a free career coaching event for veterans with a focus on the effective use of social media as a job search tool.  HP Human Resources professionals will provide social media instruction and one-on-one counseling sessions to assist veterans in:

  • Navigating the Job Search Process
  • Interview Counseling
  • Resume Guidance
  • Effectively using LinkedIn, the leading online professional directory, for your career search, including:
    • Creating a LinkedIn profile
    • Preparing and uploading a profile photo (photographers will be on hand)
    • Leveraging your resume and work experience to enter the proper information into the profile
    • Crafting, updating and polishing your resume with the information recruiters look for
    • Preparing for job interviews

Attendance is on a first come/first served basis, please procure your tickets by Friday, October 25th.
