We are excited to announce that LifeNet Health will be opening a Distribution & Inventory Center in Plainfield, IN to provide a central hub to our growing global organization! We are currently seeking a Full-Time Export Compliance Specialist, to join the LifeNet Health team in our newPlainfield, IN location on a 9AM-5PM shift. Up to 75% travel will be required in the first six months of employment.
The Export Compliance Specialist is responsible for the accuracy of all shipping documentation relating to all export shipment activities. Support all functions relating to International Export shipments for LifeNet Health to include creation of Certificate of Origin documents, creation of Commercial Invoices and filling AES (Automated Export System) filings for all international shipments leaving LifeNet Health facilities in Virginia Beach, Renton or Austria. Maintain all records of International shipments in accordance with U.S. Federal Export regulations.
You would be expected to perform all tasks assigned to you, including but not limited to:
• Create all required export documents and AES fillings for all shipments leaving Virginia Beach, Renton, and Austria as per LifeNet Health policies and procedures.
• Maintain all export documents as required by the EAR (Export Administration Regulation) and the CFR (Code of Federal Regulation).
• Serve as single point of coordination between customers (internal and external), U.S. Customs and Border Protection and other government agencies to ensure service commitments are achieved and maintained in accordance with client and company objectives.
• Monitors Shipment Status reporting, to review daily monitoring reports, ensure all measurements standards are met, and report non-conformances to the Distribution and Logistics team.
• Participate in regular review of HTSUS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the U.S.) classification maintenance.
• Performs internal audits of automated processes to ensure compliance with the EAR.
• Coordinate with other LifeNet Health departments (Distribution, Finance, Compliance, Procurement, IT, & Customer Service) to resolve issues on any export/import shipments
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of Export Compliance, AES Filings, Country of Origin Documentation
• Minimum 2 years of Traffic Management
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1 year of previous SAP experience
• Fluent in Spanish
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
• Able to ensure accuracy and completeness in accomplishing tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
• Ability to use time, energy, and resources effectively to achieve goals
