Matheson is looking for an experienced Regional Operations Manager for our Midwest Region. Position is available in Denver, Co, Salt Lake City, UT, or Phoenix, AZ.

As a Regional Operations Manager, you will collaborate with the station management team to develop and execute operating plans and to improve operational performance results. You will review daily and weekly operational performance (productivity and financial) to facilitate continuous improvements, including corrective action, to ensure business plan targets are met. You will conduct site visits and determine resources needed to achieve operational goals. You will facilitate quarterly reviews with functional groups and customers to identify business development and revenue growth opportunities. You will analyze data to identify changing trends and make necessary adjustments to service, productivity, and performance goals and strategies, providing best customer solutions based on true needs. You will manage locations to identified business metrics and train managers on how to make solid business decisions with metrics. You will ensure operati onal reports are accurate and communicated effectively with all employees. You will be expected to motivate managers to perform at optimum levels, provide support and direction to HR issues, and ensure correct and timely reporting. You will hire, train, and evaluate station leadership staff, identifying individual and team skill gaps and development opportunities to facilitate individual/team development.

Skills & Qualifications:
* Demonstrated understanding of business problems and capacity to recommend solutions.
* Strong understanding of business metrics and data points.
* Demonstrated understanding of the movement of materials, information and finances involved with a service based operational environment.
* Understanding of leading practices in business analysis, project management and continuous process improvement.
* Ability to apply knowledge of company structure and operations’ best practice to achieve business goals
* Excellent communication, problem solving, time management and multi-tasking skills.
* High proficiency in Excel and Word with the proven ability to learn company specific data reporting systems.
* Excellent analytical, critical thinking and mathematical skills.

Special Requirements:
* Requires frequent travel to assigned sites and working anytime during station operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Requires full availability during our peak season of November 25th – December 30th.

* All employees are responsible for integrating security practices in daily work by appropriately using and safeguarding Matheson resources in compliance with policies and procedures.

3 – 5 years’ in data analysis. 8 – 10 years’ supervising employees. Experience managing remote locations and multiple programs or projects with a high degree of complexity and scope. Experience reading SOWs. Experience with material handling equipment, production scanning equipment, and airport operations. Lean Six Sigma and/or industrial engineering experience desired.
