Position Overview:
Matheson Inc. is seeking a positive, goal driven Station Manager. The Station Manager is responsible for managing, coordinating, overseeing, planning and conducting activities related to the safe and efficient operations of the terminal. The Station Manager oversees the day-to-day operations and ensures staff is adequately trained. The Station Manager performs routine service and maintenance activities of terminal facilities, systems, and equipment; while assuring compliance with Federal, State, and County regulations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Plan, direct, coordinate and review terminal operations. Meet with staff to identify and resolve problems, assign work priorities, monitor workflow, evaluate work and adjust work schedules as needed due to cover unforeseen circumstances.

Evaluate operations, maintenance, policies and procedures continuously and make or recommend changes for improvement to Sr. Management to meet established goals and objectives. Implement changes as needed and in coordination with Sr. Management and within compliance of our contractual obligations Research and recommend capital improvements. Network within the terminal to seek other areas of business opportunities Select, train, motivate, supervise and evaluate staff Assign duties and responsibilities, make work schedules, and design training plans. Write performance evaluations; work with employees to correct deficiencies; implement discipline and termination procedures.Review the operational process for areas of improvement; continuously ensure the operation is running in the most product and efficient way possible.Prepare and present reports including profit / loss assessments; Track and maintain supply inventory control and approve station expenditures.
